Road Traffic Accidents
There were two fatal road traffic accident that was reported over the past 24 hours.
On 22/04/2019 at 1350 hours at Zambane area along Mafutseni/Mbadlane MR3 public road, a Mazda Verisa driven by a 61 year old woman of Bhudla area collided head-on with a bus (Lokuhle Transport) driven by a 39 year old man of Sitsatsaweni area. The driver of the Mazda Verisa was seriously injured on the head and was certified dead on arrival at RFM hospital.
On 22/04/2019 at 1730 hours near Sidambelweni area, along Mliba/Luve MR5 public road, a Honda fit sedan driven by a 46 year old collided head on with a Mazda MPV Station wagon driven by a 40 year old man of Endlozini area. The driver of the Honda Fit sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Dvokolwako Health Centre where he was certified dead on arrival. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries, he was treated and discharged. Five passengers in the Mazda MPV sustained injuries and were admitted at Dvokolwako Health Centre while two were treated and discharged.
There were no major incidents that were reported over the past 24 hours.
